LAN 208 - Korean 4 and Culture LAN 208 - Korean 4 and Culture 3 Course Description: Korean 4 and Culture is a fourth semester world language course. Students will continue to learn Korean language by developing all four communication skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. They will also learn to expand their reading skills to be able to derive probable meaning of simple unknown words from short familiar contexts and scan a simple text, using headings and graphics. They will learn to write in Korean a description of a future event or activity and a story with simple linear sequence. They will gain a deeper understanding and respect for a different culture.
