LAN 285 - Latin 3 and Roman Culture LAN 285 - Latin 3 and Roman Culture 3 Course Description: Latin 3 and Roman Culture is a third semester world language course. Students will read authentic Latin texts. The study of English derivatives from Latin stems will complement the study of the language while students learn to expand their reading skills to be able to follow sequence of actions or events, and write in Latin basic descriptions of past events and activities. They will gain a deeper understanding and respect for an ancient culture. General Education Elective(s): Humanities Note(s): N/A Course Student Learning
