LGL 141 - Mediation Training LGL 141 - Mediation Training 3 Course Description: This course provides basic mediation training and is designed to enable students to practice mediation skills. The topics emphasized include: identifying interests, interactive listening skills, transmitting information, general communication skills, and co-mediation techniques. Students will have several opportunities to practice mediation skills within the framework of several role plays throughout the semester. Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible for a Certificate of Completion in accordance with Massachusetts General Law. ISLOs: This course supports student development of Critical Thinking, Social Responsibility, and Personal and Professional Development.
