LGL 153 - Law, Justice, and Society LGL 153 - Law, Justice, and Society 3 Course Description: This interdisciplinary course explores the social, political, and economic factors that shape the creation, implementation, and enforcement of laws and public policy in our society. As part of the curriculum, students are required to complete service-learning and/or internship hours at an outside agency, chosen collaboratively between the student and faculty. There is flexibility regarding when these hours are completed, allowing students to engage with various agencies, including law enforcement, courts, corrections, and social service organizations. This hands-on experience will provide valuable insights and practical skills related to the course content.
Prerequisites: ENG101, SOC101
