MAT 298 - Differential Equations MAT 298 - Differential Equations 3 Course Description: Introduction to differential equations with an emphasis on engineering applications. Topics include first-order equations, higher-order linear equations with constant coefficients, and systems of first-order equations. Applications of each topic are introduced and qualitative, analytical, and numerical solution techniques are studied. Laplace transform methods are discussed. A software package may be used throughout the course. General Education Elective(s): Math all programs Note(s): A TI-84+ graphing calculator is required. Course Student Learning
