NUR 102 - Fundamentals Of Nursing Practicum NUR 102 - Fundamentals Of Nursing Practicum 3 Course Description: Clinical application of the Fundamentals of Nursing theory course includes a laboratory, simulation, and a direct care component. Opportunities to learn and practice selected basic skills of a professional nurse are provided in lab experiences; here the student can critically examine development of his/her psychomotor, communication, and decision-making skills. The student has opportunities to apply Core Competencies© to the care of adult clients, at various functional levels, in the long-term care and sub-acute care environments.
