NUR 207 - Nursing Care of the Adult and Older Adult NUR 207 - Nursing Care of the Adult and Older Adult 6 Course Description: In this course the student continues to develop and become proficient in the NOFNCC LPN© competencies related to the comprehensive care of adult and older adults with acute or chronic/persistent health problems including mental health problems. Community options for adults, older adults and adults with chronic health problems including mental health problems will be discussed. Concurrent enrollment in or completion of PSY 124. This course needs to be taken concurrently with NUR 203 Preparing for Professional Practice, NUR 204 Preparing for Professional Practice Preceptorship, NUR 208 Nursing Care of the Adult and Older Adult Practicum and NUR 162 PN Advanced Pharmacology and medication calculations. Students must achieve a grade of C or better in each course. Course Student Learning
