NUR 256 - Nursing Care of Adult II Practicum NUR 256 - Nursing Care of Adult II Practicum 5 Course Description: Clinical application of the Nursing Care of the Adult II theory course includes simulation and a direct care component. In the Nursing Care of the Adult II Practicum, the student continues to develop and become proficient in the Core Competencies© related to the comprehensive care of adult clients, families, groups, and communities with complex acute or chronic/persistent health problems in the medical surgical setting. Competencies related to leadership/management are the focus of the clinical experiences in transitional care and community settings. Open to Nursing students only. Course Student Learning
