SOC 125 - Sociology Internship SOC 125 - Sociology Internship 3 Course Description: This course will support students during their Community Leadership internship as part of that certificate requirement and them to make connections between their course work and their workplace experience in local community leadership. Interns will spend up to 150 hours during the semester at a non-profit in Lowell and attend a weekly one-hour per week classroom seminar in order to receive support and guidance from their peers, instructor, certificate coordinator, and local community leadership professional. 0 or above; students must obtain an approved internship with the Community Leadership Coordinator before the semester begins. Note(s): Funding for students for these internship hours (@$20/hr for up to 150 total hours during the semester) will come from the DHE through MCC’s Financial Aid office. Course Student Learning
