AMI110 — Cross-Sectional Anatomy
Reviews gross anatomy of the entire body. Detailed study ofanatomic structures will be conducted systematically for location,relationship to other structures, and function. Gross anatomicstructures are located and identifi ed in orthogonal and obliqueaxial (transverse), sagittal, coronal planes. Illustrations andanatomic images will be compared with CT and MR images inthe same imaging planes and at the same level when applicable.The characteristic appearance of each anatomical structure as itappears on CT, MR and ultrasound images, when applicable, willbe stressed.
