WLD103 — Basic SMAW
Students will gain the proper skills to operate all shop equipment and produce quality welds to pass specific weld position tests. Some of the assignments will include: Lab safety; applying proper technique with the SMAW process; manipulate hand held plasma equipment in a skillful assignment; demonstrate the ability to properly operate an oxy-fuel cutting torch.
