ARTT211 — Painting I

An introductory studio course involving solutions to the problems related to the creation of representational, abstract, and non-objective paintings. Technical skills such as the ability to size and prime a canvas and to work in varied media are developed. Demonstrations, lectures, and class critiques will be employed. Two hours lecture, four hours studio each week. 3 semester hours Course
