ASLP206 — Structural ASL II
(R only) A further consideration of the phonological, morphological, semantic, syntactic, and pragmatic components of ASL. This course includes a consideration of the sociolinguistic principles in American Sign Language and the cultural practices from which they derive, specifically focusing on language taboos, discourse, and linguistic variation. Recommended to be taken concurrently with ASLP 210 . Three hours each week. 3 semester hours Course
