AUTO101 — Introduction to Automotive Technology
(R only) Credit for Prior Learning An introduction to the operating systems of the modern automobile. Explores current changes in the industry along with career opportunities. Covers identification and the safe use of hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools used in automotive service. Explains the basic operating procedures of shop equipment. Presents Occupational Safety and Health Act standards pertaining to the automotive field for greater individual and environmental safety. Two hours lecture, two hours laboratory each week. 3 semester hours Course
