AUTO262 — Battery/Starting/Charging
(R only) Credit for Prior Learning Discusses purpose, parts, operation, and failure diagnosis of automotive batteries, cranking systems, and charging systems. Cruise control, remote keyless entry, theft deterrent, and remote start systems are also covered. Laboratory exercises emphasize on-vehicle use of common and specialized electrical service tools. May be taken with AUTO 263 . Two hours lecture, two hours laboratory each week. 3 semester hours Course
