EDUC224 — Social-Emotional Development in Young Children
Enables the student to comprehend the process by which children develop social and emotional competence. The focus will be on the principles and techniques of a developmentally appropriate guidance approach, the role of adults and community in a child’s social and emotional development, activity planning, and the ethical standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
