ENGL202 — Introduction to World Literature II
(HUMD, GEIR, GEEL, GCP) An introduction to world literature from the mid-17 th century to the present, including oral traditions, poetry, fiction, the essay, and drama. Emphasis is placed on key ideas that express the commonality of the human spirit and experience across cultures. Students read, analyze, and respond critically to texts in class discussions, examinations, and essays. Students may enroll in ENGL 202 without having taken ENGL 201 . Three hours lecture/discussion each week. 3 semester hours Course
