HINM180 — Health Data Management

Credit for Prior Learning An introduction to the use of technology in the capture, delivery and analysis of health data. The course focuses on the use of electronic health records, data mining, statistical collection of health data, quality data management, report generation and health data project management. Students interact with simulations of key EHR and HIM tasks. Three hours lecture, two hours laboratory each week. 4 semester hours Course
