HLTH125 — Personalized Health Fitness
(GEIR, GEEL) An introduction to basic nutrition, exercise science and wellness principles which contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Students will demonstrate and understanding of how these scientific principles contribute to the prevention and management of disease. Through this course, students will learn the basic anatomy and applied physiology necessary to develop and implement an individualized fitness and wellness plan to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Assessment and class activities will allow students to collect and analyze data, evaluate results and apply skills in a practical setting. Assessment Level(s): ENGL 101 / ENGL 011 .
