(ARTD, GEIR, GEEL) (R only) An introduction to the basic elements of music, intended for students with limited musical background. Emphasis is on terminology, notation, scales, intervals, triads, and traditional diatonic harmony with a further emphasis on the practical application of these various aspects of music theory.
