NURS106 — Acute Care Practical Nursing

(ECEC and TP/SS only) Fourth course in the series of practical nursing training. Topics include the care of adults with common medical/surgical health problems requiring management in an acute care facility. Application of pathophysiology, nutrition, and pharmacology to co-morbid diseases within each topic area. The course includes a review for the NCLEX-PN at the end of the course. Four hours lecture each week. 4 semester hours Course
