PHTH224 — Clinical Practicum II
(TP/SS only) Capstone clinical course consisting of eight full-time weeks of supervised clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. The student will practice advanced skills learned in the physical therapist assistant curriculum under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist or supervision team of licensed physical therapist and physical therapist assistant. The student will develop entry-level skills in the legal and ethical issues of clinical practice, the measures and interventions required of a clinical population, documentation and progression of patient care, and the comprehensive non-direct patient related skills necessary for the professional role and responsibilities of the entry level physical therapist assistant. 280 clinical hours. 7 semester hours Course
