Introductory survey and analysis of the visual arts - painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, printmaking, and crafts - to acquaint non-art majors with basic aesthetic concepts: media, technique and function; elements and form; genres; stylistic characteristic and expressive qualities; and socio-cultural influences.
