526-198 — Radiography Clinical 6
This final clinical course requires radiography students to integrate and apply all knowledge learned in previous courses to the production of high-quality images in the clinical setting with minimal direct and primarily indirect supervision. Students apply radiation protection and standard precautions in the production of images in a health care setting while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines. Students are encouraged to demonstrate independent judgment in the performance of clinical competencies. (Prerequisites: 526-189 Radiographic Pathology; 526-190 Radiography Clinical 5; 526-197 Radiation Protection and Biology; Criminal Background Check and Health Requirement Verification required.
