CJS 230 — CJS-230. Ethics in the Law. 3 Credits

LECT 45 hrs This course will introduce students to the ethical issues that are present in the legal system. Emphasis will be placed on the New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct. Students will analyze case studies and apply the appropriate Rules of Conduct. This class is designed for students seeking positions in the legal system including careers as paralegals, judiciary staff, attorneys, and law enforcement officers. Prerequisites: ENG-111 or ENG-111CL or ENG-111CW and CJS-105 CJS-121 .
