CMP 125 — CMP-125. Information Security Management. 3 Credits

LECT 45 hrs This course entails identifying an organization's information assets and the development, documentation and implementation of policies, standards, procedures and guidelines that ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of those assets. This course, which is mapped to the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education Knowledge Units, prepares students to understand the planning, organization and roles of individuals involved in security, to develop security policies, and to utilize management tools to identify threats, classify assets and rate vulnerabilities. A detailed, real-world security plan is developed using customized strategies. Additional Fees: Course fee applies.
