DAN 125 — DAN-125. Jazz I. 1 Credit

LAB 30 hrs This course is for the student at a beginning experience level and is designed to introduce the jazz dance genre. Specific attention is given to exploring rhythms, body isolations and stylistic movements specific to jazz dance. The techniques of ballet and modern dance are integrated into the coursework and anatomical alignment is stressed for the purpose of injury prevention. This course is open to non-dance majors as well as dance majors. Additional Fees: Course fee applies.
