MAT 124 — MAT-124. Statistics. 3 Credits
LECT 45 hrs The fundamental principles of statistical methods. Descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, probability, binomial and normal distributions, sampling, elementary hypothesis testing, confidence intervals and ethical issues in statistics are included. STUDENTS WILL ONLY RECEIVE CREDIT FOR EITHER MAT-124 OR MAT-130 . Prerequisites: MAT-016 , MAT-026 , MAT-120 or equivalent - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
