LECT 45 hrs Emphasis is placed on experiencing, discussing and realizing various musical styles throughout history to the present time. All music from the ancient to even today's most popular styles are covered, but with specific attention given to how to listen and appreciate each musical genre. Students may even be invited to contribute to the course content by bringing personally favored music to be studied.
