This course is designed to develop an understanding of basic biology as it relates to human beings. The lecture component includes discussions on the orgnization of the human body, the basic anatomy and physiology of the human body sytems, genetics, human evolution and ecology. The laboratory component is designed to reinforce and expand on the topics that are introduced in the lectures.
