CJS 242 — Community Relations in Criminal Justice

General orientation to the concepts of criminal justice professionals and community relations and the need to establish good working relations between them and the public. Offers an understanding of the complex factors involved in human relations: the nature of prejudice and discrimination, its effects, the interactions of changing society, the rquirements of individual rights, the maintenance of peace and order and the changing police role.
