EDUC 120 — Foundations of Early Childhood

This is an introductory course to the history, philosophy and theoretical foundations of early childhood programs with specific attention to current programs serving children prior to school entry. Concepts for providing developmentally appropriate practices are introduced. Observation hours in an early childhood classroom outside of classroom instruction will be required.

Prerequisites: ENL 095, ENL 111
