IW 202 — Advanced Marine Firefighting

This course teaches maritime students advanced marine firefighting theory. Students receive classroom instruction on the theory and principles of firefighting and how to properly supervise a ship’s crew to put out an on-board fire. Theoretical training will be reinforced throught hands-on fire suppression practice on an on-site mock up trainer.
