SURG 200 — Surgical Technical Principal & Practice
This course provides an in-depth study of the principles and practice of aseptic technique in the didactic learning environment. The student will learn the principles of aseptic technique as will as understanding the operating room routine. Topics will include minimally invasive surgery, preventing perioperative disease transmission, emergency situations, instrumentation, equipment, supplies, hemostasis, wound care, surgical case management, and diagnostic procedures.
