This course is designed to introduce Intelligent Transportation Systems to the student. Course content will include concepts, training, and educational needs of ITS professionals. Elements of this course will include: fundamentals of traffic flow and control, ITS user services, ITS applications and benefits, ITS architecture, ITS planning, ITS standards, ITS evaluation, and ITS challenges and opportunities.
