VET 227 — Anatomy and Physiology for Veterinary Technology

This course covers the study of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems in the functional animal body. Utilizing a dissection based approach, students will use canine, feline, equine, and bovine species as models. All body systems will be examined (integumentary, musculoskeletal, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive) with emphasis on comparative structures and clinical significance of each body stem.
