The Community Paramedicine course is a certificate program designed to educate Paramedics on providing sub-acute care to the most vulnerable populations with the goal of improving the quality and life of those impacted by illness or injury. Topics covered throughout the course are focused largely on public health concepts including, but not limited to, social determinants of health, identification and care of high-risk patient populations, navigating community resources, chronic disease pathophysiology and management, and basic lab techniques and procedures.
