ANS 1401 — EQUINE BEHAVIOR AND HANDLING
Prerequisite: NONE This course covers equine management techniques, understanding equine behavior, and equine anatomy. Topics include basic equine handling, management principles, hoof care, dental care, first aid and wound care. Students will also receive an Introduction to the behavior and training of the horse and techniques of safe handling based on the principles of equine behavior.
