CD 2553 — COGNITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
Prerequisite: NONE This is a laboratory course with specific emphasis on the development of skills and techniques for working with young children in cognitive activities--math, science, social science, and field trips. An understanding of each area and presentation of learning experiences and activities to children in a group setting is developed. Two lecture and two laboratory hours per week. Credit: Three semester hours CD 2563 FAMILY AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS Prerequisite: NONE This course will enable students to develop the skills and techniques for working with parents and community in relation to the child care setting. It includes methods for communication, parent involvement, and parent education. Two lecture and two laboratory hours per week. Credit: Three semester hours
