CON 1404 — CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES
Prerequisite: NONE This course is designed for both conservation majors and as a general education science alternative for students who wish to learn more about important environmental concepts and issues. It includes a study of global issues such as acid rain, global warming and ozone depletion. It also explores local and regional issues such as conservation of water, soils, minerals, energy, rangelands and forests. An introduction to chemistry and other areas of science are covered to provide the students with the foundation to better understand these natural resource conservation topics. Three lecture hours and two laboratory hours per week. Credit: Four semester hours
