ENG 2713 — NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN LITERATURE

Prerequisite: NONE This course explores the literary evolution and historical experiences of American Indian authors, orators and writers. The course will focus on historical, societal, and cultural contributions by native authors to the American literary society and culture. We will discover the reclamation of voice, heritage, and culture through modern and past native authors in a variety of writing genres and styles. Credit: Three semester hours
