GS 1412 — HANDLOADING AND BALLISTICS

Prerequisite: NONE This course is a study of the bullet’s flight from barrel to target, history and evolution of loading components, use of various types of powder, primers and cases, types of bullets and effect on rifling in barrel, actual loading and testing of ammunition, loading tools and dies, and safety factors. One lecture and two laboratory hours per week. Credit: T wo semester hours
