HST 1723 — HISTORY OF THE INDIAN TRIBES OF THE UNITED STATES

Prerequisite: NONE This course is a survey of the Indian tribes of the United States from the pre-Columbian to the contemporary period. The presentation will encompass the impact on tribal cultures of contact with white civilization and the relationship of various tribes with the colonial and United States governments.
