HWP 1131 — WALKING AND JOGGING

Prerequisite: NONE The purpose of this class is to encourage regular participation in health and fitness walking as the primary aerobic activity for a personal fitness program. Students will learn the guidelines to begin and sustain a walking or jogging program safely and effectively. This course can be used to satisfy the PE Core Educational Requirement, but cannot be used to satisfy elective requirements. Credit: One semester hour
