IET 1313 — MACHINE TOOL PRACTICES
Prerequisites: NONE This course is designed to provide the student with basic operational skills and knowledge of some common machine associated with the field of manufacturing. Use of the engine lathe, lathe accessories, tool bit grinding and lathe machining procedures will be emphasized in this course. Use of the bench and pedestal grinders and metal cutting saws will also be covered. Credit: Three semester hours
