NUR 1113 — NURSING ROLE TRANSITION
Prerequisite: Dean or Program Chair approval This online course is designed to introduce the licensed practical nurse, licensed vocational nursing and registered paramedic to concepts related to change and transition as they pursue education to become registered nurses. Students will learn about the philosophy of the nursing education process, differentiation of LPN and RN roles, critical thinking in registered nursing, role concepts essential for registered nursing practice, and application for the nursing process. Credit: Three semester hours.
