OTA 2113 — OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PROCESS AND
INVESTIGATION Prerequisite: Acceptance to the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program This course provides an introduction to the Occupational Therapy Framework, theories, frames of reference, treatment models and evidence- based practice that provide the basis for treatment planning and treatment interventions. Introduction to therapeutic use of self and professional reasoning is emphasized. Course focus on fundam entals of occupational therapy documentation. Three lecture hours per week.
