PTA 2145 — ANATOMY AND MOVEMENT II
Prerequisite: PTA 2103 and PTA 2112 Corequisite: PTA 2134, PTA 2126 This course involves the study of the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system with an emphasis on human movement. This course builds on the interventions to enhance movement and function across the life span. Topics include: Introduction to therapeutic exercise, postural assessment, flexibility testing, muscle strength assessment, and assessment of gait. The course includes in- class, online and laboratory components. Credit: Five semester hours
