VA 1214 — VETERINARY ASSISTANT II
Prerequisite: Completion of VA 1114 with a grade point of 2.0 or better This course is designed to provide the student with the cognitive and technical skills of the skills expected of a veterinary assistant, including but not limited to office procedures and client relations, pharmacology, surgery, anesthesia, laboratory procedures, and diagnostic imaging. It will also cover avian, exotic, and large animal restraint, examinations and procedures. Three lecture and four laboratory hours per week. Credit: Four semester hours VETERINARY NURSING (VN)
