CS 2433 — Advanced Networking

A study of client/server networks including network planning, installation, and management. Topics will include a review of computer hardware, network topologies, and communication media. The student will gain experience in network management through resource sharing and security. User access profiles will be developed, user groups will be defined, and resources (file, device, serial) will be shared using a popular networking application.
